Webinar on Mouse Anesthesia

OOTI and HCCM will be co-sponsoring a webinar presented by AALAS on mouse anesthesia on January 23, 2019 from 1:00-2:30pm at the Snyder Auditorium (Kresge G2). Last presented in September 2017, this webinar covers topics such as surgical plane of anesthesia, multimodal anesthesia, and injectables vs. inhalants.

New Training Available: Controlled Substances in Research

EHS has just introduced a new online training on the use of DEA controlled substances in research. 

This course provides instructions for obtaining, securing, using, and disposing of controlled substances used in research, in accordance with the US Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration, Controlled Substances Act (21 CFR 1300) and Massachusetts Department of Public Health (105 CMR 700).

NOW LIVE: Animal Training in the Harvard Training Portal

The IACUC has transitioned to the Harvard Training Portal for all online animal-related training. Any AALAS Learning Library completions from the past 3 years will still be accepted. 

Animal training in the HTP must be assigned by the Principal Investigator or Designee. Please see read our guides for more information about accessing and assigning training.
